YOU CAN BE A LOCAL HERO TO A CHILD...

             For thousands of students in our community, basic school supplies are a luxury. Think about being asked to paint a picture without a brush or play music without an instrument. Many children in our community face this situation every day when they go to school. We believe helping disadvantaged students to succeed is as simple as...one pencil, one crayon and one notebook.

             Your business, organization, or community group can become a hero to local classrooms and help local students by hosting a school supply drive. The basic school supplies collected will go onto the shelves of our teacher free store to supply local classrooms in need.

Teachers most often request:

            Educators in the Dayton area spend up to $1,000 a year of their already limited salaries to provide the necessary supplies for their students and classrooms. We encourage you to conduct a supply drive anytime throughout the year to help replenish our store.

            Crayons to Classrooms will provide a "tool kit" of promotional materials to help facilitate a school supply drive.

We currently seek business, organization, or community sponsors in the following areas:

• Workplace Campaigns
• Retail Partners
• Non-profit Agency Partners
• Sporting Events or Sports Teams
• Community Groups
• Places of Worship
• Office Buildings

Cash donation: Your generous, tax deductible contribution to DC2C will enable us to keep our shelves stocked with basic supplies.
