Volunteer Spotlight

Michael Vula
Flyer Enterprises, University of Dayton

Michael first came to Crayons to Classrooms in December, 2009 as a volunteer with a group of students from UD. He later returned as a marketing intern from March through April of 2010. Michael has added great value to our organization by completing several important tasks. Some of which includes updating the digital marketing sector via Facebook, creating the Pass it On campaign to spread awareness through word of mouth to donors, volunteers, and teachers. He also worked on newsletters, creating future greeting cards, and created a philanthropy letter to teachers to introduce the idea of volunteering to students. Michael was a pleasure to work with and always brought a pleasant smile and positive attitude to the workplace. He has just finished finals and is headed home to Pittsburgh, PA for the summer. We wish him well!
